added now: this album is a chain of studio and field-recordings. some sounds were first recorded at the swimming-pool and later processed in studio, when the others were first recorded in the studio, then played loud at the swimming-pool and recorded in natural surroundings again. and again and again, sometimes for few times this way, back and forth and so on. some parts were first recorded not at the swimming-pool, but in the school, on the street, at Steven's house, or else, catching close or distant sounds. planes, trains, nights, insects, sun, water etc were all important and in the game. i left the birds untouched, like they left me. visible. audible.

in 2003 i planned to make next volumes of these recordings, as i recall. it didn't happen, but somehow as volume two mołr drammaz's album "very vs. very" can be taken. volume three can be for example The Complainer's "The Amor" recorded in 2010. these three albums are closely connected in many terms. birds are present. and some other creatures in common appear. situations too.

and - this is not a travelogue or tour-diary, nothing like that, although kind of souvenir/memorabilia it is (of that particular moment in time and point in space). Miami is a very inspiring place for me. part of my soul is living there still. and all the time.

(note: back in the days i preferred to use kind of funny abbreviation of my name - Wojt3k. now i prefere regular full version - Wojciech. So i decided to put now both versions in title for wider reference)

z polskiego oryginalnego pres-riliz: "pierwsza ujawniona plyta ukazujaca bogaty plon wyjazdu molr drammaz do usa w marcu 2003 roku. baza wizyty bylo niesamowicie energetyczne, subtropikalne miasto - miami. w polsce raczej znamy je tylko z zabawnego serialu kryminalnego "miami vice", wiec tak naprawde nie wiemy o nim nic (podobno dopiero po tym filmie niektorzy ludzie w miami tak sie zaczeli ubierac jak jego bohaterowie, a nie na odwrot, niezbyt wiele tez jezdzi tam rozowych cadillac'ow). obecnie miasto praktycznie hiszpanskojezyczne, praktycznie zupelnie odmienne od modelowego amerykanskiego city, gorace i kosmopolityczne. jedno z glownych centrow hip-hopu, bardzo specyficzne dla latino i dosc wazne dla elektroniki. nagrania na "birds..." jednak mowia o sprawach zupelnie innych. dla mnie przede wszystkim byla to pierwsza wyprawa w rejony tropikalne, zawsze o tym marzylem, i o tym jest ta muzyka. polaczylem field recordings, proste zjawiska znad basenu, z domu w ktorym mieszkalem, szkoly w ktorej robilem wyklad, z ulic miasta ktore mi sie tak bardzo spodobalo z generowanymi komputerowo w studio SAW konstrukcjami. chcialem wykreowac cos prostego, swoista pamiatke i probe zmierzenia sie z fenomenem subtropikalnego klimatu. mam nadzieje, ze na tej plycie slychac sargassowo-karaibskie slonce."
